Congrats to FirstPlace, who beat Armed and Hammered 3-2 for the trophy!

Four hours, nineteen innings, and three epic wins against their longest (and best) rivals and The Pitch Set Me Up are DC Liberty CHAMPIONS!

The games may be cancelled but we’ve scheduled a flip cup tournament for charity. Head to Town Tavern by 8 p.m. to take part, enjoy $8 pitchers, $2 tall boys, $5 burgers and $.25 cent wings.

As always, the pre-party is at the Blaguard and Bobby Lew’s. Bobby Lew’s specials include $2 beer, $4 you-call-its and half-priced appetizers.

* You do need to wear your WAKA shirts to get the specials!

Thanks to everyone for a great season on and off the field! Everyone had fun, new friends were made, and a ton of money was raised for charity.
